Ashford Hill Primary School Fete 2009

This years theme was 'All things bright and beautiful' to support the schools current promotion of healthy eating and gardening.

Some of the highlights were:

  • The gardening competition for the strangest shaped strawberry, carrot or tomato, the smallest red tomato, the heaviest strawberry and the longest carrot.
  • Can you spot the scarecrows made by the children during Activity week.
  • Children's activities included: art and Music; Tombolas and children's competitions; stalls for shopping;
  • The Steel Band played several sessions throughout the day;
  • The Sizzling BBQ was as tasty as ever. Adults bar and for the children 'Mocktails' , 
  • Raffle with Spectacular prizes....and much more

Music during the day was by Pan Everest (Everest Community College)
